Four Regina girls are facing charges after a joyride in the early hours of Monday morning.
The Regina Police Service says officers were dispatched at about 5 a.m., to the 3700 block of Regency Crescent for a report of a suspicious vehicle.
En route, officers saw the suspect vehicle in the area of Elphinstone Street and Argyle Street. They tried to stop the vehicle, but were unsuccessful.
Police later saw the vehicle crash into a garage behind the 700 block of Cameron Street. The occupants of the vehicle took off and the police tracked them down with the help of a canine unit.
After confirming the vehicle was stolen, police arrested four girls aged 12, 13, 14, and 15. The girls now face a variety of charges.
