A 24-year-old man is dead after a single-vehicle rollover near Moosomin.
According to the RCMP, the accident happened Thursday at around 5:30 p.m., on a narrow grid road about five kilometres south and 18 kilometres west of Moosomin.
The Mounties said an eastbound vehicle carrying the man and two girls, ages 15 and 18, went out of control and rolled into a ditch. The man and the 15-year-old girl both were ejected from the vehicle.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The girls were taken to hospital; their conditions aren’t known at this time.
The RCMP’s media release said it appeared “lack of seatbelts used and driver inexperience” may have led to the rollover, but it noted the investigation is continuing.
