A woman has been charged after an alleged hit and run incident Sunday where two vehicles were damaged by a truck that was reportedly stolen earlier in the evening.
At around 9:10 p.m., police were dispatched to the area of Avonhurst Drive for the report of a hit and run. Police said information provided indicated a truck had struck two vehicles and left the scene at a high rate of speed.
As police were attending the accident, the Regina Police Service said it received numerous calls for service reporting a truck driving erratically throughout the North Central and Mount Royal area. The truck was located and safely immobilized on Second Avenue North and Osbourne Crescent.
