A 15-year-old girl is dead after she was hit by a car in Debden.
According to a media release from the RCMP, officers from the Big River detachment responded Tuesday at about 3:30 a.m., to a report of a car-pedestrian collision in the town.
An RCMP forensic reconstructionist, a STARS air ambulance, Big River paramedics and members of the Big River Fire Department also responded.
The girl was taken to hospital, where she later died.
The Mounties said a 17-year-old male was driving the car.
The RCMP investigation is continuing.
Debden is about 85 kilometres northwest of Prince Albert.
