Two women were seriously hurt in a crash Saturday on Highway 2 north of Buffalo Pound Lake.
According to Moose Jaw RCMP, they were travelling in a car heading northbound when they struck a southbound truck shortly before noon.
“Initial investigation indicates that a southbound truck attempting to avoid the southbound SUV in front of it, which was slowing down to make a turn, veered into oncoming traffic and collided with a northbound car,” read a news release from police.
One woman sent to hospital in Moose Jaw while the other was transported to hospital in Regina by STARS.
Police say alcohol is not believed to be a factor and the investigation into the crash continues.
