Around 4 p.m., Environment Canada issued severe thunderstorm warnings for south-central areas of the province.
Environment Canada is tracking the storms, which began in the Kindersley, Rosetown, Leader and Gull Lake areas.
A severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain is moving through the area.
Severe thunderstorm watches are in effect for areas in the southeastern portion of the province, including Regina.
