A tragic end to a search for a 32-year-old Thunderchild First Nation woman.
Monday, Turtleford RCMP announced that DeeDee Steele, who has been missing since June 26, has been found dead on the First Nation.
Initial reports on June 28 indicated that Steele may have been travelling to Livelong, Sask., but had connections in Vernon, B.C.
Turtleford RCMP, along with Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes Unit worked in consultation with the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service in the investigation.
At this time, Mounties are not investigating the cause of death as being suspicious.
