Police say a crash southwest of Fort Qu’Appelle could have been worse.
On Monday afternoon, the RCMP closed the intersection at the junction of highways 10 and 35, believing injuries were severe. The closure was also to bring in a traffic reconstructionist.
A spokesperson for the Mounties says only one vehicle was involved, with the driver taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The RCMP says alcohol and driver inexperience are believed to be factors in the crash.
The intersection was reopened a few hours later.
