Parents have something new to be concerned about after some feces was found at a Harbour Landing playground.
The incident was first reported in a local Facebook group for moms before one member spread the word.
The feces was found on the playground structure at Norseman Park.
A Facebook post in the Harbour Landing Neighbourhood group detailed the incident.
“I just heard from a local mom in a mom’s Facebook group that there is, once again, poop smeared on a Harbour Landing park,” Liz Ferozedin wrote in her post.
“Just a heads up in case any of you were planning on taking your kids there today.”
People online have reacted to the incident with disgust and surprise.
Mayor Michael Fougere called the incident “unconscionable.”
“It’s unbelievable that someone would do that,” Fougere said on Thursday’s Greg Morgan Morning Show. “It is disgusting.
“I don’t know what’s going through people’s minds when they do that.”
There was another incident involving human feces at a playground behind Harbour Landing Common on July 12.
