8:30 – Testing in Saskatchewan is available to anyone on request, according to the Saskatchewan Health Authority, but we’re hearing concerns about wait times before tests are performed and some callers to our show this week claimed they had been denied tests. Saskatchewan has performed 84,916 tests so far, putting our testing rate per million at 61,924, well below the national rate of 96,217. Dr. Paul Babyn is heading up the SHA’s testing program, and he joins Gormley to discuss COVID-19 testing in Saskatchewan and how the system could be improved.
LIVE: Dr. Paul Babyn, Physician executive with the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
