City of Regina gives instructions on voting by mail

The City of Regina has some instructions for those want to vote by mail in the upcoming municipal election.

To apply for a mail-in ballot:

1. Download, complete and sign the Voter Registration Form from the city’s website.
2. Have the form and your identification witnessed by an eligible person. A witness can include an eligible voter who lives at the same address as the applicant. The full list can be found here.
3. Mail, email or fax the application along with a copy of photo I.D. to Elections Regina.

If all the criteria are met, a ballot will be sent with instructions on how to vote.

If not, applicants might be asked to re-apply in person.

Applications will be taken until Nov. 9.

Mail-in ballots will be sent between mid and late October and must be received at the Election Office by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
