Severe thunderstorm watches were issued Friday for areas of eastern Saskatchewan.
According to Environment Canada, the storms could produce hail the size of loonies and rainfall in excess of 50 millimetres.
The watches were in effect for areas around Moosomin, Grenfell, Kipling, Wawota, Carlyle, Oxbow, Carnduff, Bienfait, Stoughton, Yorkton, Melville, Esterhazy, Hudson Bay, Porcupine Plain, Kamsack, Canora and Preeceville.
Meanwhile, Lloydminster was under a wind warning and heat warnings remained in effect for a number of regions in the north.
