The Regina Police Service is on the lookout for a man charged with manslaughter earlier this year who now may be unlawfully at large in the city.
In a media release Friday, police said 28-year-old Josiah Pambrun — who was living in the Punnichy area — may have cut off an electronic monitoring bracelet. His whereabouts aren’t known.
Warrants for his arrest, on charges of mischief and failing to comply with a release order, were issued by the Punnichy RCMP.
In February, Pambrun was charged with manslaughter by Regina police in connection with the death of Rodney Troy Ruberry on Jan. 24.
Pambrun is described as Indigenous, approximately 6-foot-3 and 240 pounds, with short black hair, brown eyes and a pockmarked complexion. He has tattoos on both forearms and upper arms, including “Isabella” on his left forearm, and praying hands, a rosary and the name “Chantel” on his left upper arm.
Anyone with information about Pambrun’s whereabouts is asked to call the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500, the nearest RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
