Regina police are still investigating a weapons incident that had a section of Fourth Avenue near Lewvan Drive shut down for about six hours on Thursday.
Just before 8 a.m, officers were called to an apartment building for reports of a young woman being held against her will. It was later discovered she had escaped out a back door.
Later, they were told a man was inside the apartment with a gun, threatening to hurt himself and police.
Shortly before 11 a.m, two women were detained. One was released, and the other was arrested for unrelated warrants.
Negotiators managed to get on the phone with the man they thought was armed and inside the building.
Police got a search warrant around 2 p.m., and found nobody inside.
Four fake guns, a shotgun, ammo and a large sword were found in the apartment.
Police are still looking into the incident and are asking anyone with information to give them a call.
