Two Regina men are facing charges after police seized about one kilogram of cocaine during a raid Tuesday.
According to the Regina Police Service, officers from the Regina Drug Unit and the Crime Reduction Team executed search warrants in the 2800 block of Parliament Avenue, the 4500 block of Harbour Landing Drive and the 4200 block of East Green Olive Way.
Police found and seized about 1,000 grams of cocaine, $6,700 in cash, brass knuckles, cellphones, digital scales, a cocaine press, packaging equipment and material, and a truck.
A 30-year-old man and a 24-year-old man were arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, and possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000.
One of the men also was charged with possession of a prohibited weapon.
They’re to appear in court Oct. 6.
