An eight-year-old child was sent to hospital, then later released, after being struck by a vehicle Monday night in the Wood Meadows neighbourhood.
Police were sent to the 2600 block of Truesdale Drive shortly before 8 p.m. for a report of a crash involving a vehicle and pedestrian.
They say the child was trying to cross the road when hit by an eastbound vehicle.
No charges have been laid.
