If the weather co-operates, the City of Regina will keep the Regent Outdoor Pool open until Sunday.
As well, the city’s 15 spray pads will remain open until Sept. 20.
According to a news release from the city, there has been demand from residents to keep the facilities open as long as possible.
The pool will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day while operating hours for spray pads are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The city says standard practice would be to close outdoor pools around Labour Day and for spray pads to close mid-September.
The city is asking parents to discuss with their children guidelines from the Saskatchewan Health Authority when using outdoor spaces.
