A Saskatoon daycare has reported a case of COVID-19.
The director of education for the Conseil des ecoles fransaskoises (CEF) confirmed the case in a letter sent to parents on Thursday.
“It was brought to CEF’s attention that a person who regularly attends the Felix-le-Chat childcare centre in Saskatoon has been diagnosed COVID-19 positive,” Ronald Ajavon said in the email.
The letter states public health is proceeding with contact tracing and reminds families to watch for symptoms, both for themselves and their loved ones.
The daycare is attached to the elementary school Ecole Canadienne Francais but has a separate entrance.
In the meantime, the school division said school activities will continue as normal and it will keep families informed as the situation develops.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority said it does not comment on specific cases.
