The Northern Inter-Tribal Health Authority is advising the public that an individual who later tested positive for COVID-19 took part in a recent baseball tournament in Shoal Lake.
The authority said the individual was at the event from noon to 5 p.m. on Sept. 5 and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sept. 6.
Shoal Lake is about 100 kilometres east of Nipawin.
Anyone who was at the event on those dates and at those times is urged to self-isolate if they have had or currently have symptoms of COVID-19 and to call HealthLine 811 to arrange for assessment and testing.
People who were at the event but aren’t experiencing symptoms should self-monitor for 14 days.
