One man is dead after a train and semi-trailer unit collided Friday on Highway 39 near Rouleau.
In a media release, the Milestone RCMP said officers were at the scene of the crash, which occurred about two kilometres east of Rouleau.
The driver and lone occupant of the truck was pronounced dead by paramedics. The RCMP release didn’t include any other details about the man.
The Mounties said the highway wasn’t blocked.
A Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist and officials from Occupational Health and Safety and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service were part of the investigation, as was the CP Police Service.
