Z99’s 33rd annual Radiothon was a smashing success.
The charity initiative raised almost $300,000 Friday.
The money will go to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Regina General Hospital.
CC, Lorie and Joel from the morning show spent 12 hours on the air taking calls and raising the money.
Usually, the event would be held at the Cornwall Centre and last 36 hours. Unfortunately, it wasn’t feasible with gathering limits and social distancing.
However, people were still able to interact and make donations.
We didn’t get to see Catherine in person this year, but the administrative side of Radiothon loves to watch Cassity’s reaction to Catherine’s fantastic donation each year. This year we filmed it so you can enjoy it too!Thank you Catherine's Cause – A Community Initiative for your amazing donation. Congratulations on such a huge total! ❤️
