As of Sunday, the province has announced five new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan.
The new cases were announced in the Saskatoon (1), central-east (1), Regina (1) and southeast (2) regions.
There are no new recoveries, bumping the active case total to 153.
One person is in hospital. That individual is in intensive care in Regina.
There have now been 1,959 cases in total.
There have been 452 cases from the south area (225 southwest, 204 south-central, 23 southeast), 403 in the Saskatoon area, 359 in the far north (350 far northwest, nine far northeast), 281 from the north (132 northwest, 80 north-central, 69 northeast), 273 from the central area ( 176 central-west, 97 central-east) and 191 in the Regina region.
The province’s total comprises 965 community contacts, 567 cases without a known exposure, 296 travellers and 131 cases that are still under investigation.
To date, 74 health-care workers have tested positive.
1,419 tests were done in Saskatchewan Saturday. Since the pandemic began, there have been 199,524 tests.
