Police are warning an alleged thief about what could be a nasty surprise.
Blaine Lake RCMP said six steaks were stolen from a home near the Wingard Ferry road sometime between Tuesday and Friday.
The steaks are poisoned.
The beef was intended for use on wild animals, but if a person were to eat them, they could be seriously hurt or even killed.
Police are now trying to track down the suspect, both to investigate the theft and warn them of the dangerous meat.
However, they do not have a description of the alleged burglar.
