A 33-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a robbery in Regina on Saturday.
At about 8:35 p.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery at a business in the 500 block of Broad Street.
They were told a man entered the business armed with a handgun and demanded cash from an employee. The employee wasn’t hurt.
On Monday at about 3:20 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle and arrested the passenger, whom they had identified as the suspect. A search found a pellet gun inside the vehicle.
The man was charged with robbery, use of a firearm during the commission of an indictable offence and wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence.
He’s to make his first appearance in court on Tuesday.
