BAIE-COMEAU, Que. — Olivier Coulombe had a goal and an assist, and the Victoriaville Tigres downed the Baie-Comeau Drakkar 4-3 on Friday to remain unbeaten to open the 2020-21 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League season.
Mikhail Abramov and Maxime Pellerin scored 23 seconds apart in the second period to give Victoriaville a 4-1 lead, while Nicolas Daigle also potted a goal to help the Tigres (3-0-0) begin the season with three straight victories.
Nathael Roy, Nathan Legare and Antoine Rochon supplied the offence for the Drakkar (1-2-0).
Nikolas Hurtubise made 26 saves for Victoriaville while Lucas Fitzpatrick kicked out 25-of-29 shots for Baie-Comeau.
