Some hockey fans in Saskatchewan are about to get more games to watch in person.
The SJHL announced Friday night it has been given the go-ahead to start play immediately. The league’s season was on hold because of COVID-19 restrictions.
In a statement, the SJHL said attendance at games will be capped at 150 fans. All fans will have to wear masks when they’re in the rinks.
Teams can schedule exhibition games to play until Nov. 1. A schedule of those games is to be released as soon as it’s assembled.
The league said it will provide information on the attendance that will be permitted at regular-season games at a later date.
