8:30 – Saskatchewan is adding new measures today to help control the spread of COVID-19. We’ll carry the press conference live at 11:30, but many are wondering what measures we should expect. Alberta implemented stronger restrictions yesterday, including a two-week stop to all group fitness and sports team activities in large cities and a two-week liquor curfew that ends alcohol sales at 10 p.m. To compare the different COVID-19 restrictions and their efficacy, John is joined by epidemiologist Cynthia Carr.

12:00 – APAS’ Rural Connectivity Task Force is working to improve connectivity in rural parts of the province. As part of the project, which involves meeting with experts and service providers and advocating for better connectivity, APAS is asking rural residents to participate in their Internet speed test to give them a better understanding of baseline Internet speeds. The test is online at apas.ca/speed-test, and Task Force Chair Jeremy Welter joins Gormley to tell us more.
