Ecole Wascana Plains School is remaining open despite the discovery of a positive case of COVID-19.
In a media release Tuesday, Regina Public Schools said the affected classroom had been closed. The students in the class are to begin remote learning for two weeks; they’re to return to class Nov. 30.
The school division didn’t say if the individual who tested positive was a student or a staff member.
Close contacts of the individual were called by school staff and division administration and told how long they should self-isolate.
