COVID-19 case numbers continue to rise in Saskatchewan.
In a press release Sunday, the Ministry of Health announced 236 new cases in the province, along with 90 recoveries.
That brings the active total to 2,683. Since the virus came to Saskatchewan, there have been 6,473 total infections and 3,757 recoveries.
The Saskatoon region reported the most new cases, with 82. Other new cases were reported in the southeast (six), far north-central (one), Regina (52), southwest (13), north-central (24), northwest (17), far northeast (two), central-east (two), south-central (nine), far northwest (eight), central-west (nine) and northeast (nine) zones.
The location is not yet known for two of the new cases.
The total case numbers were raised by one each for the Regina, far northwest and north-central areas, as the locations were discovered for three cases from Nov. 14 and Nov. 20.
The number of people in hospital has nearly hit the three-digit mark.
Across the province, 99 people are in hospital. Of those, 80 are receiving inpatient care.
There are 19 people in ICU: 10 in Saskatoon, four in Regina, two each in the north-central and southwest zones and one in the central-east area.
The province saw 3,355 tests processed Saturday, raising the total number of tests to date to 318,025.
