Regina Public Schools has been told of positive COVID-19 cases at two of its schools and on a bus that served another of its schools.
Meanwhile, the Regina Catholic School Division reported Monday a positive test at one of its schools.
In a media release Monday, the public school division said it had been informed by the Saskatchewan Health Authority about a case of COVID-19 at Walker School.
The affected individual’s class is to begin remote learning and won’t return to the school until Dec. 3. The building is to remain open for all other students.
The division also was told of a positive case at Campbell Collegiate.
The students in that individual’s class will be learning at home until they return to Campbell on Dec. 4. That school also is to stay open.
Finally, the division was informed about a positive test for an individual who rides the bus that serves Ecole Elsie Mironuck School.
All close contacts of that person are to self-isolate and will be learning at home until they go back to school on Dec. 4.
The Catholic division said an individual at Ecole St. Mary School had tested positive.
As a result, the division has closed one classroom and stopped one bus from running until Dec. 4, meaning students from that classroom and that bus are to learn remotely.
All other classrooms at the school are to remain open and all other buses are to keep running.
