8:30 – With the rising number of COVID cases in Saskatchewan some residents are calling for a lockdown of non-essential businesses, similar to what’s been happening in Ontario and Manitoba. According to the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB), a second wave of business closures would be devastating to small business. CFIB President Dan Kelly joins Gormley to tell us more.

11:00 – According to a recent survey, most Americans say they got the worst sleep in 2020 – the majority of them saying they can’t remember the last time they got a good night’s sleep. The top two factors to blame were consuming too much news, and spending too much time with their family during quarantine. Things like Zoom call fatigue and burnout from working from home also kept people from catching zzz’s. Certified Sleep Consultant and Behaviour Specialist Kristal Miller joins Gormley to weigh in on the survey and to talk about why we aren’t sleeping and what we can do to sleep better.
