A classroom and a bus at St. Kateri Tekakwitha School in Regina have been closed until Dec. 4 because of a COVID-19 case.
The Regina Catholic School Division says in a news release that other classes and buses will still be open on Monday.
Parents and students of the classroom in question have been notified, the division says. It’s reminding everybody entering schools to self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19.
On Friday morning, the division said a COVID case had been diagnosed at Miller Comprehensive Catholic High School.
Close contacts have been told to self-isolate and impacted classrooms have been closed until Dec. 10.
Students in those classrooms will be learning remotely. All other classrooms at the school are to remain open.
On Friday afternoon, Regina Public Schools reported a positive case at Henry Braun School.
The school is to stay open, but students from the affected class are to learn from home until returning to the building Dec. 9.
