Positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported at schools in Regina and area, prompting the additional closure of several classrooms.
However, all schools remain open for other students.
Within the public school division, there was a case at Imperial School, where affected students will resume in-person classes on Dec. 11.
At Winston Knoll Collegiate, students who will be learning remotely and will return to school on Dec. 10.
At The Crescents School, affected students will be learning remotely until Dec. 8.
In the Catholic division, there have been cases at St. Peter School, where a classroom has been closed until Dec. 14.
At Miller Comprehensive Catholic High School, a news release from the division says multiple “impacted classrooms” have been closed until Dec. 9.
The Prairie Valley School Division reported Monday morning a positive COVID case had been identified at Robert Southey School.
Close contacts of the individual are to isolate for 14 days. Students in the affected class are moving to remote learning until Dec. 9, while all other classes at the school in Southey will continue with in-person learning.
