The Saskatchewan RCMP is asking for the public’s help in finding a Regina man who has been the subject of a Canada-wide warrant for more than a year.
In a media release Wednesday, the RCMP said it’s looking for 54-year-old Spencer Bird.
Bird was on statutory release when he went unlawfully at large in Regina. On June 6 of last year, a Canada-wide warrant was issued for his arrest.
On May 17 of this year, Bird was involved in an incident in Ahtahkakoop and the Ahtahkakoop RCMP issued another warrant for his arrest, this time for aggravated assault.
Bird is described as being 5-foot-9 and weighing about 180 pounds, with brown eyes and a bald head. He’s known to frequent the Regina, Ahtahkakoop and Prince Albert areas.
Anyone who has information about Bird’s whereabouts is asked to contact the RCMP by calling 306-310-7267, their local police service, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
