Regina saw plenty of snow fall on Tuesday, so it’s no surprise the city has declared its snow routes will soon be in effect.
The routes run through several high-traffic streets in the city. When the routes are in effect, residents are not permitted to park on the street for a full 24-hour period. The ban is intended to make it easier for crews to plow the whole street, minimizing windrows and improving traffic flow. Routes are identified by blue signs with a white snowflake.
The snow route will be in force starting at 6 a.m. Wednesday through to 6 a.m. Thursday. Any cars still parked on the street will be ticketed by the city.
This map outlines where the snow routes are located.
