The Regina Police Service (RPS) is continuing to announce more drug busts.
In a media release Wednesday, the RPS revealed the results of another SWAT team search warrant and arrest. Around 8 a.m. on Tuesday, the SWAT searched a home and a vehicle on the 1000 block of Cameron St. in the North Central area. The RPS says fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine were discovered, along with cash, drug paraphernalia, and “multiple imitation firearms.”
A 49-year-old man was arrested and charged with possessing property obtained by crime, three counts of possession of a scheduled substance, and two counts of possession of a scheduled substance for the purposes of trafficking.
The RPS has executed more than half a dozen search warrants in the last week, focusing on drug trafficking and gun cases.
