There have been 36 deaths at Parkside Extendicare in Regina due to a COVID-19 outbreak.
That’s the latest from the Saskatchewan Health Authority, which has been helping with the day-to-day operations of the long-term care home during December.
The home was the location of the single-biggest COVID-19 outbreak in a care home in the province.
But there is some good news from the update. As of Tuesday, there aren’t any active cases among residents at Parkside Extendicare.
Eleven staff members are still considered to have active cases.
