Two Regina residents are facing charges after a fight in a home on Athol Street left a 62-year-old man with stab wounds.
In a media release Thursday, the Regina Police Service said officers responded Wednesday at about 7 p.m., to a houseĀ in the 600 block of Athol for a report of a knife offence. When they arrived, they found a number of people involved in a fight.
After separating the combatants, police discovered the 62-year-old man had been stabbed in the hand and arm. He declined medical treatment.
A 46-year-old man is facing charges of assault with a weapon and failing to comply with a probation order, while a 25-year-old woman was charged with assault causing bodily harm and three counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
They made their first court appearances Thursday.
