The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is warning of increased COVID exposure risk at bars in Meadow Lake and North Battleford.
In Meadow Lake a person who was infectious went to Empire Hotel Bar at 108 2nd Avenue East on Dec. 20 between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. and again on Dec. 21 from 9:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
According to the SHA, a person with COVID-19 went to Bennigan’s Bar, Tropical Inn on 1001 Highway 16 Bypass three times while infectious.
They were there on Dec. 26 from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Dec. 27 from 12 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Dec. 28 from 11 a.m. to 630 p.m.
Anyone at these locations during these specific times must immediately self-isolate for 14 days following the date of exposure, the SHA said in a media release.
