8:30 – Saskatchewan’s Health Minister Paul Merriman says our province will receive thousands of doses of COVID-19 vaccine in the coming months. While some have criticized the pace of vaccinations, Merriman says Saskatchewan was unable to speed up our vaccination rate due to the number of vaccines provided by the federal government and their rules around conserving the second doses of the Pfizer vaccine. Merriman joins Gormley to discuss our vaccination program and what he expects in the coming weeks.

12:00 – Mitch Love, head coach of the Saskatoon Blades, was assistant coach to André Tourigny during Team Canada’s silver medal run at the 2021 World Junior Hockey Championships, which came to a head this week with a heartbreaking 2-0 loss to our American rivals. Love, who also served as an assistant coach to last year’s Team Canada, joins Gormley to discuss his experience at the Edmonton tournament.
