The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is warning the public about a “potential super-spreader” COVID-19 event at a Saskatoon restaurant and bar.
The SHA says individuals who attended Crackers Restaurant and Bar on Pinehouse Drive between Dec. 23 and Jan. 4 must immediately self-isolate for 14 days from the time they visited the location.
An outbreak was declared on Friday and the contact tracing investigation has so far identified 16 positive cases, said a news release on Sunday.
The SHA warns there is significant risk for potential second generation spread.
For those who attended the business but have not spoken to Public Health and are now past the 14-day infectious period, you are asked to call HealthLine 811 to arrange for testing and notify those with whom you were in close contact.
