30 – While Saskatchewan’s pace of vaccinations has increased over recent days, we’re still well behind other provinces and many are calling on the province to speed up the process. Premier Scott Moe joins Gormley for a discussion on Saskatchewan’s vaccination plan and what’s being done to get doses into arms as quickly as possible.

00 – The Hour of the Big Stories… Open Session
30 – With Correctional Service of Canada beginning to vaccinate penitentiary inmates last week, a debate has sprung up over who should be first in line to get their COVID-19 vaccines. On Friday, caller Scott said he’s a teacher but would happily give up his own vaccine for a prison inmate. On the other side of the coin, IOC member Dick Pound said Olympic athletes should go to the front of the line in order to ensure the Tokyo games can take place safely. We want to know who YOU think should be at the front of the vaccination lines, so call 1-877-332-8255 and let us know who you would be willing to give up your own vaccine dose for.
00 – A study published this month by researchers at Durham University found that we make our strongest musical connections at age 14, and our favourite pop songs are songs we heard for the first time at that age. The music we heard for the first time during our formative teenage years tends to bring back vivid, fond memories in what’s known as a “reminiscence bump.” Do you have great memories from your youth that come flooding back when you hear a certain song or artist? Give Gormley a call at 1-877-332-8255 and let us know!
00 – While SaskAbilities programs are typically geared towards helping those with disabilities, they’re also working to ensure everyone in Saskatchewan seeking employment can find it. The SaskAbilities ‘Partners in Employment’ programs are offered to anyone who needs help with employment, and their services range from work placement to mock interviews and help writing resumes. Emily Hurd manages the programs in Saskatoon, and she joins Gormley to tell us more.
