The NFL divisional weekend is set up for upsets.
The Los Angeles Rams, Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns have the perfect recipe for road success: Solid defences and very good run games. If you can keep it close and own the time of possession, you can win.
And the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have Tom Brady and a talented group that has been slowly gelling throughout the season and did you see the Chicago Bears hang around last week against the New Orleans Saints? The Bucs have more firepower than the Bears, of course.
The Rams are the least likely to upset. They’re banged up and Aaron Rodgers has an extra week to get ready for a run at a second Super Bowl ring with the Green Bay Packers.
Cleveland against the Kansas City Chiefs seems ridiculous to pick an upset but I don’t think the Chiefs will blast the Browns as some expect. If Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt get rolling, it’ll be one of the most shocking results on divisional weekend in quite some time. I’ll still pick the Chiefs but it’ll be close.
So the final four will look like this: Green Bay takes on Tampa in the NFC championship and the Chiefs get the Ravens in the AFC.
