The Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks can start booking their summer getaways because their seasons are over. The Calgary Flames, Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens should start getting parade routes in order and the Winnipeg Jets and Ottawa Senators are going to have one heck of a battle for the final playoff spot.
My goodness, do I love it.
Sports is the ultimate real-life, constant rollercoaster for anybody who wants to grab a seat and pull that bar over their lap and see where the twists and turns take them.
Some teams have a pretty tame ride, while Oilers fans have more loop-de-loops and feel like puking than any other of the seven Canadian fan bases.
But remember. The season is still young and there is a lot more ride left so hold on tight. I’m sure Leafs fans aren’t going to have it easy for too much longer.
