Nearly two weeks after a major storm hit Regina, city crews are set to head into residential areas to start plowing operations.
According to the City of Regina, plows will start working Tuesday on residential streets that didn’t get cleared after the storm on Jan. 13-14.
The city said plows will operate between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., every day until the work is complete. The operation is expected to take 12 days, weather permitting.
The city reminded residents to check its website to know when their neighbourhoods are going to be plowed or watch for electronic message boards placed at high-volume access points of their neighbourhoods.
People also are asked not to park on the street between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., and to expect snow ridges along curbs and around vehicles that stay parked on the street.
