According to a new poll, just 45% of Canadians are confident in the Trudeau Government’s ability to deliver the vaccines effectively. 12:00 – According to the National Police Federation, a union representing thousands of RCMP officers, police are dealing with new and unforeseen challenges to their mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Nick Carleton, a psychology professor working with the NPF, says RCMP members are exposed to levels of stress and traumatic events at levels that are “simply unsustainable.” Carleton joins guest host Mike Couros to tell us more about the issues, and what can be done to improve police mental health.
