HALIFAX — Lukas Cormier and Thomas Casey each scored a pair of goals in a 5-1 Charlottetown Islanders win over the Halifax Mooseheads in Halifax Sunday afternoon.
Patrick LeBlanc also scored for the Islanders (14-2-0-0), who are now winners of six consecutive games.
Jason Horvath scored for the Mooseheads (6-7-2-3).
Islanders centre Zachary Beauregard was given a match penalty for kneeing Horvath at 6:37 of the first period, while Halifax’s Zachary L’Heureux served a minor penalty.
Colten Ellis stopped 35 shots for Charlottetown. Brady James made 33 saves of his own for Halifax.

CHICOUTIMI, Que.— Nicolas Daigle scored twice as the Victoriaville Tigres sunk the Chicoutimi Sagueneens 4-2 in Chicoutimi on Sunday afternoon. Daigle scored the game winning goal for the Tigres at 9:10 of the third period. Conor Frenette and Pier-Olivier Roy also scored for the Tigres. Thomas Belgarde and Christophe Farmer scored for the Sagueneens.

RIMOUSKI, Que. — Mavrik Bourque scored twice as the Shawinigan Cataractes defeated the Rimouski Oceanic 4-3 in Rimouski on Sunday afternoon. Bourque scored the game winning power play goal for the Cataractes at 4:52 of overtime. Zachary Massicotte and Lorenzo Canonica also scored for the Cataractes. Luka Verreault, Jacob Mathieu and Adam Raska scored for the Océanic.

DRUMMONDVILLE, Que. — The Rouyn-Noranda Huskies defeated the Drummondville Voltigeurs 5-2 in Drummondville on Sunday afternoon. Zachary Cardinal scored the game winning goal for the Huskies at 16:21 of the second period. Xavier Bouchard, Olivier-Luc Hache, Mathieu Gagnon and Charles-Edouard Drouin also scored for the Huskies. Jeremy Lapointe and Xavier Simoneau scored for the Voltigeurs.

QUEBEC CITY, Que. —The Quebec Remparts beat the Baie-Comeau Drakkar 5-2 in Quebec on Sunday evening. Mikael Huchette, Edouard Cournoyer, Thomas Caron, James Malatesta and Nathan Gaucher scored for the Remparts. Brandon Frattaroli and Julien Letourneau scored for the Drakkar.

VAL-D’OR, Que. —The Val-d’Or Foreurs beat the Gatineau Olympiques 3-2 in overtime in Val-d’Or on Sunday evening. Jordan Spence scored the game winning goal for the Foreurs at 3:56 of overtime. Jakob Pelletier and Samuel Poulin also scored for the Foreurs. Tristan Luneau and Tristan Allard scored for the Olympiques.

BOISBRIAND, Que. _ The Blainville-Boisbriand Armada downed the Sherbrooke Phoenix 3-2 in Blainville-Boisbriand on Sunday evening. Simon Pinard scored the game winning empty net goal for the Armada at 18:38 of the third period. Alexis Gendron and Mathias Laferriere also scored for the Armada. Israel Mianscum and Joshua Roy scored for the Phoenix.
