Residents of Regina can have their say about transit services in the Queen City.
The City of Regina has launched a survey asking residents to discuss their experiences with Regina Transit and Paratransit and what they would like to see from those services in the coming years.
Those who don’t use transit also are being encouraged to take the survey to explain why they don’t take the bus.
The feedback will be combined with other research to make a Regina Transit Master Plan, which is to help set Regina Transit’s course for the next 25 years.
More input will be sought in the fall to get feedback on the ideas that may be included in the plan.
The current survey runs until Feb. 23. It can be found here.
“As the City of Regina launches this initiative, I am especially pleased to see that we are seeking input from Regina citizens,” Mayor Sandra Masters said in a media release.
“It is important to gain insight, understand expectations and find opportunities as this plan is developed to ensure transit operations are effective, efficient and sustainable for our future.”
The Regina Transit Master Plan is to be completed by the end of the year and then is to be submitted to city council.
