8:30 – The Saskatchewan NDP is calling for the removal of Judy Davis, a Saskatchewan Health Authority board member who’s been living in California since November. The SHA says Davis traveled south before the recent escalations in travel restrictions, and has no plans to return until the restrictions relax. Health Minister Paul Merriman expressed his disappointment in the news, and NDP Ethics Critic Matt Love says it raises the questions of how many people in high government positions are living abroad. 10:00 – It looks like the city of Regina could lose its air traffic control services after layoff notices were sent to air traffic controller across the country, including Regina. And to add insult to injury, according to MP Michael Kram, it was revealed before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Transportation, Infrastructure and Communities that Nav Canada executives had been given $7 million in bonuses the same time they were preparing to issue these layoffs. We hear from Regina-Wascana MP Michael Kram about the Nav Canada scandal and what the loss of the air traffic control tower could mean for Regina and area.
