It doesn’t sound like charges will be laid in the wake of Wednesday’s fatal collision between a Regina Transit bus and a pedestrian.
In a media release Friday, the police said that while “collision investigations are long and complex, the early indications show no criminal wrongdoing on the part of the driver.”
A 61-year-old Regina man died after the collision, which happened just before 2 p.m., on Broad Street between 15th and College avenues.
Police aren’t releasing the victim’s name because they aren’t viewing the incident as a criminal matter.
Anyone who has information about the collision is asked to call the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
